A recent trip to Jaipur showed us a different side to the city. We were there for the Jaipur Literary Festival which is an incredible experience in itself. Held at the charming Diggi Palace, one could skip from listening to Man Booker winner Paul Beatty discuss racism in America to Amruta Patil speak eloquently about her graphic novels steeped in Indian mythology.
We escaped in between lectures to do a bit of shopping, have a few drinks, and explore Jaipur nightlife.

Drinks at the stunning Bar Palladio
Created by Barbara Miolini and designed by Marie-Anne Oudejans, Bar Palladio is a melange of Franco-Indian influences. We loved it so much we came back both nights for drinks and their delightful pizzette.
