A Decidedly Un-Minimalist Home in Sweden

A Decidedly Un-Minimalist Home in Sweden

Happy new year! We've decided to add a new element to the journal this year - showcasing homes that we love and further expressing our love for design. Here's the first in this series, we hope you like it.

Malin Persson (a model and blogger) wasn't looking for a fixer upper when she saw this home in Malmo. But she fell in love with the possibility of what it could be and transformed it into a warm, nuanced space which balanced it's old character with the family's Italian aesthetic.

We love the strong use of black and white, punctuated with metallic accents. It's a home filled with texture - no two rooms are alike, yet there is a cohesiveness to the space.
